CHANGE TOMORROW

TODAY

Follow our journey from yesterday to today, and pledge your birthday to make a brighter tomorrow for HIV-positive mothers and their children.

YESTERDAY

15 years ago, 1,500 babies were infected with HIV each day globally...

mothers2mothers (m2m) started in 2001 with 1 site in Cape Town, South Africa...

...employing 5 HIV-positive Mentor Mothers to educate and support other mothers on how to protect their babies from HIV and stay alive.

TODAY

More than 300 babies are still infected with HIV each day in sub-Saharan Africa. But at m2m, we have virtually eliminated paediatric AIDS among our clients. m2m...

...employs more than 1,700 Mentor Mothers...

...working in hundreds of understaffed health clinics and communities in 7 sub-Saharan African countries.

Last year alone, m2m provided services to 860,500 women, children, adolescents, and men.

BUT THE NUMBERS TELL

ONLY PART OF OUR STORY
